From my mock draft: Baltimore did not draft a wide receiver which means they are confident in their ability to resign Derrick Mason, a free agent after the 2009 season. That might be a bad move because if Mason leaves, they are really only left with Mark Clayton, which would be very bad for young quarterback Joe Flacco’s development moving forward. Even if Mason returns, he will be 36 by next year’s Super Bowl, so they need a longterm replacement. USC WR Damian Williams is the best available at a position of huge need and is the logical pick here. Your thoughts? | |
